Summer has started for us down here in Georgia and I know that some people are still trying to find bathing suits on a budget. Well ladies I have found the solution! The answer is clearance shopping! I went to different stores online looking for bathing suits that are fairly priced. I found a lot of different bathing suits in different stores that looked great and were fairly cheap. I had so much money left over that I was able to buy an outfit to put over the bathing suit and some accessories. Who says you have to spend a lot to look like a million bucks?

The floral blue, red, white, and black bathing suit top was found at Target AND it is Peter Pilotto for Target. I combined this bathing suit top with a bottom that I found at H&M because they both had the same blue.  The bathing suit alone costs $11.28 leaving with me with $38.72 to buy an outfit to put over the bathing suit. I found the shirt and pants at H&M. The white bulldog shirt looks amazing on top of the black and white polka-dotted pants. What I love about these pants is that it’s a short on the bottom with a sheer long pant on top to show the shorts underneath. I found some black flip-flops at Rue 21 and they were super cute for a shoe made of rubber. I also added a bag from H&M so that you can put any beach needs such as a towel and sunblock. And like any person should have on when going to a sunny place, I added sunglasses. The black sunglasses I found at H&M. Add a red lip and you are perfect! Yes, I said add a red lip to the beach. Why not? The whole outfit costs $47.22 so you have some change back to make sure you get a good sunblock to protect your skin. Cute and smart! 🙂

These weeks go by so fast! It almost feels like I was writing for Fab 5o Friday two days ago, and here I am again writing another post for Friday. I can’t keep up with what day it is anymore, we are already into March and it still feels like January. What is this madness?! It’s harder to enjoy the little things when they are going by so fast, but all we can do is take them in and enjoy them for the time we have.

For this outfit I found this little romper that I thought was super adorable. You could stay simple and not put anything under for the summer, or you could play around with it like I did and add a shirt underneath. I did a white and black plaid shirt under the blue and black plaid romper because it adds an interesting look. I added the bracelets because the colors went with the outfit and they look young. I added the silver shoes because it adds another color to the outfit but it combines very well. I love this outfit for a trip to the store or to go on a vacation in the spring or summer. The look altogether may look a little odd with all the different colors, but that’s how we teenagers are. We are all a bit odds at time, yet we’re young and different from each other.

Fab Fifty is back! I have to admit that today has not felt like a Friday to me at all, but it never feels like a Friday to me. The only day that feels right to me are Mondays, just because I know I have to wake up early in the morning after two days of sleeping in. The thing that usually allows me to process that it’s actually Friday is writing and creating my Fab 50 Fridays every week. I enjoy doing them because it’s pretty much shopping online on my budget!

When I went looking through H&M I found this $20 black dress. I thought it was absolutely gorgeous and it would be really fun to work with. I decided to use gold accessories with the dress because I like those two colors together. I used a black and gold belt because if I was going to only use gold and black accessories I didn’t want the outfit to look too dark. I loved the black and gold earrings, I thought that they would go really well with the boots and the dress. The reason I decided to add the nails and the makeup is because the nails looked really pretty to me and I thought the makeup looked amazing for this outfit. If I had the skills to do my nails like that, I would be experimenting will all sorts of colors. Have a pretty weekend everybody!

I had a lot of fun with this outfit because I decided to play around with the color of the year. This year’s color of the year is Radiant Orchid. I decided to find an outfit using the color so I could kill two birds with one stone by telling you an interesting fact (what the color of the year is) and by giving you a nice Fab Fifty Friday outfit. I also decided to play with one of the trends from Fashion Week, stripes!

This week I decided to make an outfit that would be perfect for both spring and summer and totally appropriate for a teen. I found this dress and thought that it was super pretty. I don’t know why, but I have this weird thing for high low dresses. Anyways, when I found the dress I thought that it would be perfect to use the radiant orchid on, so I made sure to make the accessories that color. I decided that I wanted to use a hat because the outfit would have looked plain without it. Another weird thing I like are fedoras, the thing is that when I try to wear one it doesn’t look good on me because it doesn’t go along with my face shape. I have been looking at this shoe for a long time now, I just love the little strap that wraps around the ankle!

TGIFFF! Fab 50 Friday is back with yet another outstanding piece for fifty dollars or less (talk about a deal!). I love doing FFF outfits because it reminds me every time that I don’t need to spend a lot of money to get a stylish outfit. I went shopping with my mom to find my baby cousin a gift for Valentine’s Day. We usually always end up getting her clothes  because it’s something that she will use a lot and we enjoy choosing. Anyways, we were looking for shoes and we found these denim Converse for babies with metallic blue stars. The reason I decided to tell you all this is because when I was looking for an inspiration piece I saw these pants and it reminded me of the shoes for some reason. Even though it’s not stars on blue denim, it still looked a little similar. I decided to work with those pants because it gave me a small sense of déjà vu. When I was looking for shirts I found this cardigan with stripes and all I could think was: “Yay, pattern play!” Plus I thought the blue, orange, and grey combo would look good. I went with the blue heels because I didn’t want to take any attention away from the rest of the outfit. I added a ring instead of a bracelet because you can see the ring better than the bracelet which might get caught under the sleeve of the cardigan. Besides, how cute is that blue snake?

P.S. I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day and a Happy Friday!

Finally it’s Friday again. I had a busy week trying to get all my homework done and studying  for my tests. Fridays give me a sense of relief because I feel like I have a nice break all to myself without having to worry about what is due the next day. The blog gives me a way to escape the daily pressures of school, it’s a way for me to relieve stress. I look forward to doing Fab Fifty Friday because I finally realize that there will be no school tomorrow. What I also love about Fab Fifty Friday is that it helps me create an idea of what I may want to get on my next shopping trips. This week I wanted to use a sweater for the top because I’ve been needing some more winter clothes, especially with the odd weather down in Georgia. I love the pattern and the colors. This is an outfit that I would definitely show off at school, as it shows my style and my outgoing personality.
