About a month ago before I was let out of school, some family friends invited my family to go along with them to Lake Lanier for a boat show. Our family was on board immediately because it’s been a while since we visited the lake or any body of water. I was super excited to go because I heard about a lot of different things we could do there. I thought that we would get to watch boats drive by on the water but they were just parked on a dock. Not what I expected but it was still pretty cool to see all of the different kinds of boats. We then decided that we were just going to park somewhere and chill out by the lake. We couldn’t go in just yet because the water was still kind of cold. My parents played horse shoe and I walked around the shore. We then moved to a different place that had tables so that we could go ahead and eat lunch. Like all people, we just wanted to experience some adrenaline. So what we did was we took these two wheel barrels and used them to slide down the hill. Luckily none of us rode into the water. Once we got done and it was time to leave, we went to a seafood restaurant. I ate crab legs and learned to open them like a pro. I was really proud of myself for being able to pull out a huge chunk of crab meat out of the leg with it intact. I also ordered a pina colada. That was a really fun day and I hope that we get to do it sometime again soon.

It was really hot that day so I made sure to wear something that wouldn’t make me too hot. So what I did was that I wore this gray tank top with green, white, and teal flowers around the neckline as well as on the sides. I also put on some white shorts to match the white flowers on the top of the neckline. I wore some brown and teal sandals so I could stay comfortable and cool. The jewelry I wore are some silver stud earrings and a teal bracelet with a silver and rhinestone bow. Also to shield my eyes from the harmful rays of the sun, I brought a pair of teal sunglasses which also matched my outfit very well.
