Everyone has a different meaning of love, we all like to define it in different ways. On Dictionary.com love is defined as “a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person”. My definition for love is deeper than the meaning that Dictionary.com gives. Love to me is the biggest thing out there, without love you can’t live life to the fullest. Love can make a person, but it can also break one. Love is essential to my every day life, without it, I feel incomplete. No one can know the true definition of love unless they have experienced it themselves. You can’t go off what other people say because love may mean something different to them compared to your definition. I believe that love is shown through actions, these actions can be small or big.

Love can be small things that make you happy and feel special. I experience love from my parents when they kiss me good night every night. I experience love from my sister when she tries to make me laugh when I’m feeling down. Love is when you can make a person smile constantly. When you are willing to do anything just to cheer them up, even if it means that they have to make a fool of themselves. Love is when the person wants to make things easier for you and help you out with small tasks as much as possible. My mom told me that love is when my dad brings her coffee every morning. Love is when they wait to laugh when you fall down after they have helped you up and made sure you were ok. Love is when someone is willing to give up some of their food for you, I don’t know about you but I would feel super special if someone was willing to give me their last cookie. Some of these small actions may seem dumb, but it’s always the smaller things that make up bigger things.

Love can also include a lot of big things that may be performed among the people who love you, or things you do for the people you love. Love can be shown through trust. Trusting one another can show love because you know that the person is there for you . Love is when you can look at the person you love and thank the heavens that you have them. When I am apart from my parents for a long time, I start to miss them and want them by my side. Love is when you can’t go long periods of time without talking or seeing that one person. Love is when you can be yourself around that person because you know they won’t judge you. Love is when you will do anything to keep the other out of danger and harm. Love is what completes a human being.

I found this outfit at Marshall’s one day when I was shopping and thought this was a great dress for a Valentine’s Day date. I thought this dress was perfect because it wasn’t too much red and pink. People like to think that you need to go overboard with the red and pink in their outfits to create a Valentine’s Day outfit. I thought this dress was appropriate because it had red and pink roses (red and pink combos were all over F/W 2014 Fashion Week). I used a dark blue flat to attract more attention to the dress. I used pink gem hoop earrings and thin red bracelets. I didn’t want to over do it with the jewelry because I wanted all eyes on the dress. I used a darker lip color (appropriate for a teenager) because of all the dark colors going on the outfit. You don’t have to over do it on the typical Valentine’s Day colors, all you need to do is incorporate a little in and you have the perfect outfit.
